Screen 3 provides data entry for Depreciation and other Capital Information. You can include information on any number of capital expenses and depreciable items that make up the property. Depreciation methods supported include standard ACRS/MACRS, straight-line, declining balance, and sum-of-the-years digits method ... plus the ability to enter depreciation schedules manually for unconventional methods. Data entry lines that follow your choice of method change with the method you choose, for relevant and flexible data entry. For example, if you choose the declining balance method, you are given the choice of switchover to straight-line or sum-of-the-years digits when they provide a higher depreciation.
